In 1984, the software company Mastertronic was set up, with a view to providing budget gaming for the masses. When the company had matured, it went on to produce some amazing pieces of software for many computers, but on its inception, it released some rather dubious titles, and this was one of them. It has actually been ranked in the top 20 of the worst spectrum games at the World of Spectrum, which is no mean feat!

This remake is my attempt to win the wooden spoon for the second year running in the Retro Remakes coding competition. It does boast a number of improvements over the original, but the dire gameplay is still there in all its glory. How many aliens can you kill before the timer runs out? Will you get bored with the game before the timer runs out? Will you spend less time playing it than downloading it? Only time will tell!
